Every week here at Eskenzi PR, we will be showcasing something exceptional our clients have achieved. This week, we would like to highlight the great UK and German results for a piece of research from our client, Cybereason.
Cybereason has a phenomenal research team, dubbed Nocturnus, which puts out enlightening research on a regular basis. Most recently, the Nocturnus team discovered a highly capable mobile banking Trojan named EventBot that is exploiting Android’s accessibility features to target users of over 200 different financial applications such as PayPal, Barclays, HSBC UK, and others. Scary stuff, right?
The UK and German team worked on pitching this research, initially under embargo, and then the day it was released. It was hugely successful, resulting in over 30 pieces of tier 1 coverage. This included two standalone pieces in The Daily Express, along with hits in The Register, Infosecurity Magazine, SC Magazine, Computer Business Review, Computing, TechRadar Pro, Bleeping Computer and many more!
Congratulations to the Cybereason team and everyone involved at Eskenzi!
